| Stampede School is about much more than the ten day Calgary Stampede. This exciting, versatile site is rich with possibilities. Located on the second floor of the Agriculture Building, on the Stampede Grounds, Stampede School is the perfect site for you and your students to explore western heritage and values through Calgary's history, our fabulous grain academy and many more exciting sites. Stampede School offers a wealth of opportunities for connections to curricular areas. Learn how our city has grown and changed from a small agricultural community to a modern metropolis, with the help of the Stampede Archivist.
The possibilities are endless. Each week at Stampede School is custom made to complement your year long program. Working with the coordinator, you can utilize the public events and activities taking place during your week at the site, allowing plenty of time for discussion, journal writing and drawing. Your students will come away with a deeper understanding of the services The Calgary Stampede provides to meet the needs of Calgarians and Albertans. |

| Explore, observe, and participate in activities such as Aggie Days or horse care! Stampede School students are welcomed to weekly public events in the RoundUp Centre and yearly events such as the unforgettable Calgary Bull Sale. Students are given opportunities to participate in a variety of venues such as the Grain Academy, the Stampede Archives, or to do a historical study at Union Cemetery.
